Going Dutch

The outdoor hot tub gets a fiery makeover.

image/jpeg

From the fantasyland of designer Floris Schoonderbeek comes a new attraction: the Dutchtub (dutchtub.nl). Bearing a striking resemblance to the oversized teacups of Disney's Mad Tea Party ride, these colorful handmade drums are portable, easy to use and more eco-friendly than their traditional cousins. Just fill with water and fuel with firewood. Bonus? Adding a grill to the stove turns your tub into a barbecue, so you can have a hot soak while your beef sizzles. —Dominique Ritter
